Established in 1937 by exploiting labor from the Hansen’s disease patients, this white cylindrical lighthouse stood 7.5m tall at the Southern edge of Sorokdo (34 degrees 30 minutes north latitude, 127 degrees 6 minutes east longitude). It tells us the history of the Sorokdo Rehabilitation Center, which is stained with blood and tears of the patients.
