- March 18 Joined the Korean Museum Association and the Jeonnam Museum & Art Museum Association.

- August 12 Held an expert meeting on Sorokdo cultural heritage preservation and management.
- June 4 Registered as a national museum (national12-2019-04).
- May 17 Opened special exhibition
and temporary exhibition . - April 12 Signed business cooperation agreements with the Sunchon National University Museum and the Buncheong Culture Museum of Goheung.

- October 5 Held Korea-Japan Hansen's Disease Seminar.
- July 25 Held the 6th Sorokdo International Hansen’s Disease Forum.

Artifacts used by Hansen’s disease patients in Sorokdo (8 types, 14 items) were designated as registered cultural heritage No. 663.
- June 20A special trial on the damages lawsuit Hansen’s disease patients filed against the South Korean government was held in Sorokdo.

Byeongsa Catholic Church in Sorokdo and Residence of Marianne and Margaret were designated as registered cultural heritage No. 659 and No. 660, respectively.
